Do you really need Social Distancing?

Hi All, Here’s your weekly dose of “5-Bullet Tuesday”, list of things I’m enjoying or pondering.

What I’m watching –

Panchayat, web series on Amazon Prime. The protagonist, played by Jitendra Kumar, is a fresh pass out from a college in Delhi who ends up getting a job in a remote village, Fullehri, as a Panchayat secretary. The cast also includes seasoned actors, Neena Gupta and Raghuvir Yadav (remember: Mungeri Lal Ke Haseen Sapne?). I love the subtle sense of humor and the minute details when it showing the village life.

What routine I’m following during lockdown –

Apart from everything else we’re doing to fight Corona, the one thing that will help see us through is a good routine especially one that starts with a morning ritual. My routine includes what I have learnt from Dan Miller, the 3Ms – movement, meditation and mastery. Keep moving around, find time with yourself alone and use the time to learn something new.

“Nothing has contributed more to my success than my reverence to the first few hours of the day. There are three main parts to this time of each day: Movement, Meditation, Mastery – learning something” – Leadership Coach, Dan Miller

How I surprised myself –

I am discovering sides of me that I never knew existed. I am drawing, colouring, modeling, playing family dress codes (see picture below of blue day, to shoo the blues away), well other than, of course, sweeping and doing the dishes. What are you doing to surprise yourself?

Quote I’m pondering –

“If you can win the morning, you can win the day. “ – Tim Ferriss

True, and even more so in current challenging times.

The term I loved –
